Use the DIST attribute to associate a "distribution code" with the file being sent. This may be a mail stop, drop box, or other physical routing information.
A DIST statement must come after a FILE command and should preceed any DATA commands.

The syntax is

DIST	distribution code

where

distribution code

is an installation dependent routing code

This attribute is generally most useful for printed output.

DIST is a "meta command".
