1998 VM Workshop Tools

A tradition of the VM Workshop is the Tools Tape. Attendees contribute mods, original programs, documentation, etc. that they have written that might be of use or interest to other VM installations. Many of the presentations at the Workshop involve these contributions. The 1998 edition is available here.

The Tools are stored as VMARC archive files with a Read-me and List file for each VMARC package. After receiving a VMARC file it must be reformatted a little before the VMARC command can unpack it: 

   PIPE < filename VMARC filemode
        | fblock 80 00
        | > filename VMARC filemode F 80

Access is also available via anonymous FTP from ukcc.uky.edu on the Tools.1998 disk. Before using an FTP Get to retrieve them from another VM system be sure to issue Mode B and Type E commands.

The tools were last updated on 21 May 1999.
