Or how do you identify yourself?
What makes you significant?

For me, it might be ham radio and electronics hobbyist.
Maybe it'd be Marilyn's husband or Michelle and Martin's dad.
Or perhaps it would be VM or UNIX programmer.
But I've found something better.

I am in Christ. God put me there. It's hard to express this
with words. Heck ... it doesn't even fit in the mind.
We're talkin' supernatural stuff. If everything else fails,
I still belong to Jesus, I'm still bought with His blood.
I'm safe. Nothing can snatch me out of His hand.

"Believing" in Jesus Christ means to me relying on him, trusting him,
obeying him. He is the foundation of my life, in that he

• solved the problem of my separation from god (sin)
  by dying at the cross,
• gave me eternal life by his resurrection,
• shows me his will in his word (the bible)
  so I have very good guidelines how to lead my life, and
• carries through his plan for my life even through
  resistances by circumstances or other people.

This isn't just "fire insurance". I've learned that being
properly related to God (my creator) through His Son, Jesus,
is essential for this life as well as for the next.
