Thanks to Prentiss and Kevin for tips on getting started!
This is where I keep the details that you really wanted to know.
Why else would you have come this far?
An update was a little overdue, so here it is.

Troth is pronounced like "broth". It means truth,
a promise, or a pledge, as in, "I plight thee my troth".
Correct spelling is Olde English trowþe. So actually, my pronounciation is Americanized. It could be pronounced like "throw", but don't expect me to respond.

I used to do VM systems programming for Rice University. Later, I did UNIX systems programming for Rice. Later, I did both VM and UNIX for BMC Software. I have a sick love of the combination ... which no longer seems all that strange since the great virtual-wakening. Then I worked for Nationwide Insurance, a poster child of that time for virtualization. Most recently, I am with Velocity Software.

Got my BS in CS from Texas A&M. Yeah, I took thirteen years to finish. But that's okay: I know one guy took 20 and another who took 22
. Never give up.

Am married to Marilyn Nerren of Lufkin, Texas.
We have two children, Michelle and Martin.
And we're Christians.

I'm also into amateur radio, but have lost time to pursue it. Heck, I don't have time to maintain the car anymore.
